Down Devon Way

Well here I am down in sunny (not) Devon for a week, visiting family.

Decided not to bring any fishing gear with me as I’ve got plenty of other stuff to do to keep me occupied while here. There’s a possibility that I might be making a permanent move down here in the not too distant future, so am spending time looking at the job market and properties.

I have to admit that this move would would be done with much sadness and heartache and it would be a wrench having to re-locate but it looks like I will have little option.

However, it would be a bit like coming home for me, as I’ve always missed this part of the world, having originally moved away in the early 80’s.

Not too sure where exactly I’d move to but it would be more than likely, either in or around my old stomping ground of the Plymouth area.

Sorry for not looking up any of you from down here that I know but as I say, I have a fair bit to do. Maybe on my next visit, I’ll have the opportunity for a dangle.

Will be back up Sussex way next week just in time for the return to work and some catch up fishing.

Maybe move back to Tamerton Foliot, or one of the little villages alone the Tamar River. You could fish again at 17 arches, wouldn’t that be a thrill!!
Good luck in you property hunting, its always hard to know what to do.
    Talk soon
