Hi David

Many thanks for your comments and good luck on your upcoming visit and hope it fishes well for you and your cousin.

Any plans for the arm would be decided between the guys who have set up this venture, West Breakwater Fishing (WBF)and Shoreham Port Authority. If you any questions or suggestions, it would be better to direct them the guys on their facebook page:

I'm only reporting the events here for information, I have no input or involvement with the venture itself.

Well done on this initiative & for saving this facility. I used to fish this when a boy some 45 years ago. Am looking to return for a nostalgic visit in October this year with a cousin coming over from Canada who used to live in Shoreham. Such a venue can only benefit from such controls which people must realise comes at a price.
Have you thought of taking over the fishing rights of the arm as a club (with day tickets available to visitors) much like happens with coarse fishing clubs. Best wishes for the future!
