Thanks Alberta. Yes, Hurstwood Park is an amazing place, the staff are doing stirling work there and are second to none. It would be fair to say that James and Stephen changed our lives with this surgery. Good to hear that you’re on the mend and long may it continue, I wish you all the best.

Dear Vic
just been reading your story.. amazing. Hope you are still keeping well. I have just been discharged from Hurstwood Park for the second time having had an infection following removal of a large brain tumour. James Akinwunmi was my consultant, I came across you as I was googling him. Isnt Hurstwood a very special place? I get very emotional talking about it. The surgeons are just brilliant, some among the top in the country, and yet they are so humbling.
A few of us are keeping in touch, even the patients are nice.Later on when we are all a bit stronger we are planning to meet in Brighton and have a meal. You are very welcome to join us. My mobile is *************.
Also on Saturday 27/06/09 there is a fundraising day for Hurstwood Park at Primrose Cottage. Vine Cross Road,Horam. 12.30 – 4.30. Tel 01435 810396 for info or if you want to make any donations for stalls etc.
I intend to go and run a stall if my sister can take me as I NOW CANT DRIVE FOR 2 years.
